Growing Food, Growing Minds — Naturally

Real food. Real learning. Real community.

    CSA SHARES

Our CSA and farm offerings provide fresh, seasonal food grown on a living, working urban farm in Boise.

Using regenerative, organic practices, we grow a diverse variety of fruits and vegetables in small, intentional batches—bringing real flavor and nutrient-dense food to our local community.

Each season, our work is rooted in building healthy soil, working in rhythm with the land, and growing with care and purpose.

Through our CSA and farm stand, families have access to fresh, locally grown produce and a deeper connection to where their food comes from. Members can walk the farm, see what’s growing, and even harvest their own produce at times.

Our Farm School students are part of this work—helping plant, tend, harvest, and prepare food while gaining valuable, real-world skills along the way.

Whether you’re looking to support local food systems, feed your family with high-quality produce, or experience food more meaningfully, our farm offers a place to connect, nourish, and grow.

    PRESCHOOL (4-6 yrs)

Our nature- and play-based outdoor preschool offers a full-day, hands-on learning experience set on a living, working urban farm in Boise.

Each day, children are immersed in real life—caring for animals, tending the garden, preparing and sharing food, and moving through the natural rhythm of the farm.

Within this environment, early academic skills are developed in meaningful, lasting ways. Children build language through conversation and storytelling, strengthen early math through measuring, counting, and real problem-solving, and develop focus, persistence, and the ability to follow through—skills that are essential for success in any classroom.

We provide organic meals and snacks (with children involved in preparation), a non-toxic, natural outdoor environment, and space to move, explore, and engage fully.

Through these experiences, children build confidence, independence, strong social skills, and real-world capability—forming a solid foundation both academically and developmentally.

Children leave well prepared for traditional school—or to continue growing within our program.

    FARM SCHOOL (7-13 yrs)

Our hands-on, outdoor program for school-age children offers a flexible learning experience on a living, working urban farm in Boise.

Each day, students take on meaningful roles—caring for animals, working in the garden, preparing meals and snacks, building projects, and contributing to the daily rhythm of the farm. As they grow, they step into greater responsibility, leadership, and ownership of their work.

In the outdoor kitchen, students learn practical cooking skills and how to nourish their bodies using fresh, homegrown, made-from-scratch ingredients—connecting the full cycle from soil to plate.

Within this environment, academic skills develop in practical, applied ways. Students strengthen reading, writing, and math through real tasks, problem-solving, and communication, while also building focus, persistence, and follow-through.

We offer homeschool enrichment, alternative education, summer camps, and flexible school-day options to meet families where they are.

Through this experience, students develop independence, initiative, critical thinking, and a strong work ethic—gaining the confidence and real-world capability to contribute meaningfully both on and off the farm.
